Resolution

The Jester went and did something insane.
His friend paid for it with his life, so now there's things to be heard.

There's also things to be written - because a Jester is there for the King's amusement and, well, who's the King in this piece.

I can't understand why he did what he did, but I did not question him, since we were both bonded to Slendy.

He had a message ready for quite some time.

I think it's time you hear it.

I don't think you'll hear from me again.

Bye

Reason

I am not sure what to make of this, but I think he might be giving himself grief.

And there is something I need to inform all of you about.

I have given Slendy twenty bucks before the Jester did.

I messed up.
I was supposed to keep tabs on the Jester, and I messed up.
I've no idea where he is.

Confusion

As in I am confused.

Because this appears to be the Jester. And he seems to have gotten himself a handful of rope. Or two handfulls.

And as far as I know, and I've been asked here, there is only one mask, especially since Maduin himself stated in the comments to this post that it was hand-made by a friend.

Then again, nowhere like a sailing supplies store to buy rope, I guess.

EDIT:

I woke up to this. This is just grand.

Clarity

I thought it was getting boring here, so I decided to clear up some things to pass the time.

I am able to post non-cryptically, like I'm doing now for instance.

I will not give you any information regarding myself. I care about my privacy.
Okay, not any details, but I can promise you I am not hostile towards the Jester, Adrian or any of you people.

Yes, for once I am actually addressing the readers rather than the Jester.

The Jester himself, in case you're interested, is fine. For all his claims of "needing the mask back" he's either done bugger all, or he's been keeping a spectacularily low profile. The only thing out of the ordinary is that he now drunkenly sings shantys every evening. It's not the singing, or the shantys, or even the drunkedness that's unusual - it's that it happens daily. And he doesn't even seem too hung over in the mornings.

Adrian hasn't shown hide or hair of himself since the mask theft either.

Oh, there's one more assumption you made, but you'll find about it sooner or later.
It'll be a doozy.

Let me tell you a story

There was once a boy who went walking home from a Christmas party.
He didn't notice he's being followed.
The first to follow him was his friend, who was concerned for him.
The second to follow him was a man who wanted payback.
The third was a bunch in masks who blamed him and wished him ill.

The boy noticed the man and snuck away, putting on his rabbit head and saw the masked group. They were there to get retribution for being wronged by the boy, or so they thought.

The rabbit saw behind them a tall figure.
THE Tall Figure even, the definite article, so to speak.
He mocked the figure, thinking these masked people were there doing the Figure's bidding. He asked if they were going to sing and dance.
They weren't there to obey the Figure, but it made them do it, anyway.

They attacked the boy, because they so willed. They sang and danced, because The Tall Figure so willed.
They didn't understand one thing though.
They did not understand that the boy who was the rabbit had a song of his own.
With this song he smashed their heads and slit their throats until only three remained.
Three weren't a threat, so the rabbit did what he intended to do - he gave the Figure what he had prepared.
Had it worked? Nobody knows, because the three weren't compelled to sing or dance anymore.
They attacked him and that's when the man who wanted payback saved him. The three ran off.

The boy remembers it differently.

And the man did not lie.

Minor antagonists

Like Sopia. How you ever wondered why do they appear at all? Taking it logically, they should not be in the game at all. TPF has demonstrated time and again that he is perfectly capable of breaking minds, lives and bodies of many men at a time without break any metaphorical sweat. He has no need or real purpose for all these followers, agents, revenants, redlights (ha ha ha, joke is still on Zero), rapists, mind control victims and other goons.

And yet here they are, stalking, tackling, killing, maiming, scheming, posting cryptic little messages, suggesting they know more than they do, or trying to make what they do know sound more profound. That, my dears, is because they may be two things:

Victims, like any and all of us. Coping in different ways, seeing the situation differently, somehow convinced they're not stalked and opressed, but conquered and subservient. With this in place he would need them as much as he needs us.

Otherwise, they could be not a necessity, but more a demonstration of power. A show of control over the minds, hearts and actions of humans very much like ourselves. It is meant as an amplifier of the fear he reaps from us.

Of course, we could be all in the wrong on this, we could be the real villains all along, while the drones are actually on the side of some strange yet true justice, that the Slender Man is there to serve. Who knows? I mean, nobody can credibly claim to understand him, it's always just mad ramblings when they do and all anyone can do is speculate.

The title still holds, as you see, even if its origin has gone down the mental drain.

Other news:
The finale of #8 didn't go down well, but at least we got away safe, although I lost the damn photo Brian made.
Remember dears, Slendy is, despite all noted similarities, NOT Judge Doom and paint thinner does fuck-all to him.

Back to the fucking drawing board.
Bye.

Happy Easter

The first egg can be seen at all times.
The second are in the proper index or can be heard after one leaves.
The third allows one to enter his home or perhaps is circling the globe.
Care to find them?

I hate clowns

They terrify me to no end and they did so long before I read Stephen King's "IT", or saw Tim Curry perform the role of Pennywise.

The problem with me is, I'm sort of a fear junkie. I thrive on suspense, tension and irrational fears and this is what got me drawn into my current situation with Tall-Pale-Faceless.

Still, my despise of clowns goes beyond fear and into outright loathing, wich makes me taking up the mantle of the Jester in this performance quite amusing. Then again, I am also always up for a good laugh.

And so, the Jester who despises Clowns and laughs at himself for sitting so close to them has received a nomination for the title of "Sage" by some messenger of the former Three Sages.
Numbered 1, to boot.
I thought I was the one to joke here, but fate loves one-upping me on the funny.

Nice to see numbers 2 and 3. We make a diverse bunch.

So, I got this second mantle, after being named  a "Seer" by Robert, and while never fully accepted that one, I think I'll cut up both robes and sew them into my new jester suit.

And here I am, the Rule of Three Personified - Holding Three Titles, first one Given, second one Chosen, third one Inherited, being the First of The Second Three Sages, overseeing The Three Victims.

Still, the Joke's on us, because we're the Second Three, and the cycle won't be complete without a Third Three, so we'll either have to step down at some point, or be struck down. Not a happy thought.

But enough of this pointles wall of text, I'll get to the point. Zero, you want to communicate, silvermaduin@gmail.com it is. I don't see how I can help, you, or, inversely, how you could assist me, but let's try. Amelia, you get in contact too.

I still can't see why the titles were passed on to us, but let's run with it.

As for my joke, there's nothing new on the Victims, a trap has been set for TPF, however calling it a trap is exaggarating, because it's more of a prank, for which I could use one of his drones, but any runner will do.

And one more thing, I'm noticing ever more a Rock that sparks my interest and might become helpful. It's a joke within itself, because the Rock seems to not be there.

Oh my, an entire post, and I dare say a quite long one, consisting almost entirely of shameless self-plugging, as Someone ;) put it.

I will need to make a couple photos for my next entry, but let's wait for that until something note-worthy happens to the Victims, shall we?

Stay Safe

P.S.
Also, I read the initial letters of our (Amelia, Zero and mine) handles in the order we were given. Read out loud it goes "am-AY-zee" and I can't help but giggle every time I do that.
